I started at a size 12 in high school (I was a big girl back then), within 3 years in the middle of my university career, I was a size 24, nearing 16 stone.
One summer I ended up heading to the USA to work in a summer camp, there eating rubbish food like PB and jelly sandwiches, grilled cheese and chips, I somehow managed to lose 1 stone! Amazing right? It would've been all that walking up and down hills that helped me shift a little weight.
So when I came back to the UK, I was determined to lose weight and joined weight watchers and lost another 16lbs, it was then I became obsessed with the scales.
This was the start of my Yo-Yo dieting and the start of Bulimia, yes I had an eating disorder. Because of Bulimia I became an ill size 10, with saggy skin and no vitamins in my body, which found me in hospital on a drip! Luckily that was a wake up call and I started eating food again, unluckily the weight crept back on and I became an 18. I then went on a super high fat (by high fat I mean adding full fat philly cheese, oil, avocado to every meal!) and low carb diet and trained intensely every day for a month losing a lot of weight and becoming a good looking 12! (you’d think that was it right?)
Nope, not it! After coming of my high fat diet I put on the lbs that I lost and doubled it yes… putting on 20lbs and becoming a size 16! (OMG this is hard to write!). I thank God that at this point in my life I realised I’d hurt my body so much that I knew it was time to treat her right!
I found myself a coach, I found myself a studio called BoxBellFit and started going to classes. Since then I found my love for weight training and functional fitness… and I haven’t looked back! Slowly I started losing weight and toning, I became happier and healthier, fast forward a few years and I’ve lost fat, my weight has shifted about 8kg (yes I started using KG at this point too) and became a comfortable size 12… This love for fitness and weight training transpired into my career path, yes I became a Personal Trainer and an online fitness coach.

It hasn’t been easy and I’ve failed numerous times, but I’ve always after a blip managed to get right back on it and refocus! I’m nowhere near the end of my journey, in fact I’m only half way there… fitness is not just physical, it’s been a mental battle too.
So, whatever your story is, I’m here to help, I’m here to listen, I’m here to train you and I’m here to help you on the path to a healthy, fit and strong body!
My passions in life are fitness, food, wine and travel. . . My goal is to one day own my own boutique gym and help other Asian women on their path to a freeing mindset, full health and fitness… For now I’m loving coaching my clients Online.
